This medium grid starts with 2 pieces in place (including A and B), and its route covers 32 of the 64 squares.

Where to start

Row 1 is completely full of track.
Row 6 holds a single track square, so the track must cross that line with one straight piece.
Row 8 holds a single track square and B's square is in it, so every other square in that line is empty.
Counting and the two-connections rule alone fix 29 of the 32 track squares and rule out 29 squares.
